Santa Cruz Shooting Session – 2nd Tourstop in Adelboden, Switzerland

The weekend of 14/15th March the 2nd Tourstop of the Santa Cruz Shooting Session took place at the Gran Masta Snowpark of the Adelboden ski resort in Switzerland.

Once again a large number of riders lined up to compete in the jamsession competition on Saturday. The jumps, slides and grinds were judged for style and elegance. In the male category Markus Mathis dominated the field with his 720 and 900 combinations. In the ladies category Rahel Schmutz won with a only a small difference over Simone Good. Both ladies impressed with failure free stand-up Front- and Backside 360s. In the Kids category Lars Zinniker won and is now the proud owner of a new Santa Cruz Snowboard.

On Sunday the shooting session kicked off with a large presence of professional photographers to capture the incredible jumps and tricks on film. The best of their shots will feature in snowboard magazine “Whiteout”. For the shooting session Go Fast! transformed a barrel into a huge can and together with the incoming fog this gave some awesome shots.

28/29th March the tour continues in Pizol, which will be the 3rd and last of the tourstops. We`re looking forward to even more action and a big final.
